most of the action of the game revolves around piloting your top-down-style aircraft carrier around a variety of enemy types, some of which move to avoid your carrier, leaving spaceships behind to bring up a battle for the carrier to engage. usually it is not in your interest to fight the battle alone as you need to keep your carrier's shield up to avoid damage, while the main enemy ship will have its own shield and a variety of fireballs or other attacks which become available as the battle proceeds, so timing is key.
play as the lion. destroy your enemies and give your story a symbolic ending. you have the most epic set of dance moves ever: the lion's claw, lion's leap, and so on. like the mythical beast, you will have to reach the top to compete against other players. climb walls, climb trees, climb mountains, and destroy hundreds of enemies in a row! get your dance on and activate moves to compete in various dancing contests. the game is a platformer and has you playing as a bird attempting to escape a dark place. the premise of the game is that you are in the dark, and can only touch the walls in order to move about, as there are no buttons or directions, and you can't see. the artstyle is very similar to games such as soul sacrifice, no more heroes, and hotline miami, while the premise of being in the dark is very similar to the 2014 film the appleseed cast. unfortunately, while the game presents a good premise and has interesting ideas, the execution is plagued by too many glitches, and the game ends up feeling a bit unfinished, and with so much potential. the game is also too difficult to be considered enjoyable in any way, and in fact is so easy that it's incredibly frustrating, and makes the game feel more like a chore than an actual game. also, the game tries to play double standards by attaching the word'survival' to the game, despite the game being a platformer, the game is basically a endless scrolling platformer which can be restarted at any point, and one of the goals is to survive until the game ends, but the game itself never ends, it simply continues to an infinite loop. so in that case the player doesn't die, but isn't actually surviving, and is doing so by just persevering through the game. if you are used to the 2015 game, it will take some getting used to, but the game does boast an extensive tutorial so if you are new to the series the tutorial will help, as it explains everything up front that is not obvious in the game. the few bugs that the game does have are because of how the game is made, and the game actually being designed to be unbalanced by design and made unfriendly to play for those that get frustrated and quit.
